Late Dr. Rajiv Kr. Mishra founded Medicana Multi-Speciality Hospital around a simple conviction: good treatment should be within reach of an ordinary family. That meant running the hospital efficiently, choosing equipment carefully, and keeping charges honest, so that quality never became a privilege.

He believed in a patient-centred approach where affordability and excellence are not in conflict. Careful use of resources, evidence-based practice and a team that explains every step to the family were the standards he set, and they remain the standards the hospital is held to today.

That work continues. Every consultant, nurse and technician here carries forward the same commitment: to treat people with dignity, to be transparent about cost, and to make sure that when a family in Samastipur needs help, it is available close to home.
